Safety Rules for Parents and Kids

1. Never give out private information.

2. Do no post photos of yourself.

3. Know the internet and the services your child uses.

4. Never physically meet someone you met online.

5. Never respond to emails/IMs that you do not know who they are from or have ugly content.

6. Set rules and limit time on the internet.

7. Blocking/Filtering software is always good to have. (Parental Controls)

8. Talk to your child and make them aware of the dangers on the internet.

9. Update your computer regulary.

10. Use strong passwords.
